Indian History-Indian history is very ancient and intersting history in the world. India has two commonlly names Bharth and India, Bharth in Hindi and India in English. The Republic of India commonly known as India, is a sovereign country in South Asia. India is the seventh-largest country by geographical area, the second most populous country, and the most populous liberal democracy in the world. Indian coastline has over seven thousand kilometres, covered by the Indian Ocean the south, the Arbian Sea on the west, and Bangladesh and Myanmar to the east. In the Indian Ocean, India is in the vicinity of Sri Lanka, Maldives and Indonesia. the Indian subcontinent was identified with its commercial and cultural wealth for much of its long history. The world four major religions, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism originated here, while Islam, Christianity, Judaism and Zoroastrianism arrived in the first millennium CE and shaped the region's variegated culture. The British East India Company came in early eighteenth century and colonised by Great Britain from the mid-nineteenth century, India became a modern nation-state in 1947 after a struggle for independence. Indian celebrate Independence Day on August 15 this day is a national holiday in India. People of India celebrated all over the country through flag-hoisting ceremony and distribution of sweets. India significant economic reforms beginning in 1991 have transformed India into one of the fastest-growing economies, adding to its global and regional clout. Now glorious India is developing of fast rate to have a position among great countries of the world. Education medical, space technology and economy are its symbol.
